Networking, Education, and Planning

The 2010 SCLA Executive Committee Symposium will be held on Sunday, January 24th and Monday, January 25th at the Westin Ft. Lauderdale and Spherion Headquarters in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. This year’s program will feature Mr. Douglas Lambert, Ph.D (bio & abstract as pdf file) from Ohio State University and Walter Kemmsies, Ph.D.(bio & abstract as pdf file), Chief Economist, Moffatt & Nichol as thought leaders.

SCLA Executive Symposium 2010 Agenda

This is a one and a half day meeting where each of the 50 SCLA member corporations sends their top supply chain representative, generally a COO, SVP or VP. All meals and materials are included with membership.

Throughout the symposium, the following occur:

  • Major networking with the largest group of senior management in supply chain from the nation’s largest companies
  • Discuss current, relevant business issues in supply chain/logistics
  • Develop “Executive Lifelines” to other companies
  • Plan for the May/June SCLA Annual Executive Forum
  • Golf, a reception, dinner and social event
