Supply Chain Leaders in Action ProgramProgram BasicsThe Purpose:The purpose of the program is to train/educate management about the best solutions to distribution/supply chain problems that organizations are facing in today’s changing business world. This program is condensed into three intense days of personalized executive education that increases management’s supply chain knowledge and addresses the key concerns of corporate operations and management. Each sponsoring company receives personalized attention and a customized program that addresses their company’s current and future needs. The program is designed to significantly increase supply chain efficiency, enabling fast, reliable responses to pressing issues as well as establish skill sets for solving problems.Organization Committees:The Education Steering Committee is comprised of company management representatives from the Supply Chain Leaders in Action Program and DBM’s university board members and staff. This committee formulates key issues that determine the educational content of the annual conference/workshop. In addition to identifying issues that need to be addressed, the educational committee also offers suggestions of applied solutions (equipment/software etc.) that should be incorporated into the Supply Chain Lab. A special Industry Advisory Steering Committee is organized to supply equipment/ software etc. to be used in a custom designed Dynamic Distribution Lab for the program (40,000+ sq. ft.).
