Session Abstract:

Did you know that the US population will likely increase to 338 million by the year 2020? This phenomenal growth will only add to the demand for consumer goods. The question that remains – will our nation’s inland infrastructure support this growth? In this session, we will address the challenges that domestic supply chain faces now and in the future. We will share how the rail industry is responding by improving service offerings, infrastructure and facilities, and how, through collaboration, each member of the supply chain can help ensure the future of freight mobility
