Dr. M. Douglas Voss, Ph.D., The University of Central Arkansas
Biography: M. Douglas “Doug” Voss is an Assistant Professor of Marketing & Supply Chain Management at The University of Central Arkansas. Doug received his Ph.D. in logistics and marketing from Michigan State University and an M.S. and B.S. in Transportation and Logistics Management from the University of Arkansas. Before beginning his position at The University of Central Arkansas, Doug was post-doctoral research associate at Michigan State University and also worked in the truckload motor carrier industry. His research has appeared in the Transportation Journal, the International Journal of Physical Distribution and Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management Review, Logistics Quarterly, as well as several conference proceedings including the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals, Production and Operations Management Society, and the American Marketing Association. Doug received the E. Grosvenor Plowman award for the best paper submitted to the 2006 Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals Educators Conference, a grant from Pharmacia for the study of food, nutrition, and chronic disease, a scholarship from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security for the study of supply chain security best practices, and has served as chair of the Outsourcing and Quality Issues Track of the Production and Operations Management Society Conference and an invited reviewer for several conferences and journals. |
